Bayview Village Backsplit

This mid-century modern home was in completely original condition when we started (think 60’s!). While keeping the heartbeat of mid-century modern vibes, we completely rejigged the home’s layout for modern family life. The previous kitchen was transformed into a multi-use mudroom; becoming a hub of life as a secondary pantry, work from home office, garage entry point and security centre. We created a new, larger kitchen with a massive island in the old dining and living room. A secondary bathroom was also added upstairs, and the powder room was transformed into a 3 piece bath with a new standup shower. The home was splashed with a fun yet comforting palette of sage, ochre, blue greys, navy and peach which they can enjoy for years to come.
